List View Enhancements
In the Winter ‘19 Release, Salesforce enhanced an already useful tool by adding additional flexibility. First, users can now search a List View instead of using the “rolodex” style tool or filters, and second, users can share a particular list view with other specified groups of users. While these might seem like small changes, they definitely make working with List Views more efficient and streamlined.

USAGE FOR END-USERS
LIST VIEW SEARCH
Simply select the List View of your choice, and use the “Search this list” tool to search for the record you need. It’s important to note that some fields are not searchable, depending on the object, but you can still filter or sort on those fields. These usually include formula fields, lookup fields and picklists.
See the detailed Release Notes page for more information.
SHARE A LIST VIEW
To share a List View, simply open an existing List View by clicking the List View Controls gear icon, and go to Sharing Settings. From there, you can choose to share the list with all users or a specified group of users based on user Role.
