What system would be complete without data. In our experience, our clients' data resides in many places: Outlook, Excel spreadsheets, the accounting system, ERP systems, personal contact managers, etc. To ensure your team is off to a running start, we can help you make the decision on what data to migrate to Salesforce CRM and get the data moved. We believe that for your team to be the most effective, they should spend minimal time re-entering data. Training becomes most effective when they train on the fully configured Salesforce CRM which has been configured specifically for your organization and has been pre-loaded with your company's data. Data services are something we do very well and have considerable experience with. We identify 5 distinct areas of data services:
1. Extraction - getting the data out of your legacy systems. In some cases our clients prefer to handle this part of the job because in doing so they can review data quality.
2. Transformation - take the opportunity to clean up the data. Examples include replacing codes with meaningful labels and standardizing picklists.
3. Loading - getting the data into Salesforce. This includes mapping the fields from your output file to the objects and fields in Salesforce CRM.
4. De-Duplication - eliminating duplicates. Leads, Accounts and Contacts are the most common areas for de-duplication. Salesforce CRM contains a merge tool for one-by-one de-duplication of Leads, Accounts and Contacts. For more mass de-duplication and more complex projects, we recommend DemandTools from CRMFusion.
5. Enrichment - populating missing data. P1: Total outage to all users - worked continually until resolved

Within one hour of your question/request, you will receive an email acknowledge including a case # and other details. Within 1 business day we will either complete P4 cases or will update your case to provide an ETA on completion.{/yootooltip}

In-Scope Services for Data Service Packages:
- Tools Supported: Data Loader* from salesforce.com; LexiLoader* from PocketSoap; DemandTools, PeopleImport, and DupeBlocker from CRMFusion; CongaComposer, CongaCourier, CongaMailMerge, and CongaExtremes from AppExtremes; FormAssembly, Microsoft Excel integration and other mutually agreeable third-party data and form tools. *If the tool requires use of the salesforce.com API and you are a Professional Edition client, you are responsible for obtaining access from salesforce.com to the API so that we may complete the services. Excluded Services from Data Service Packages:
Custom Development with APEX, Visualforce, Sites, Pages, Triggers, Outbound mesages or Static Resources; system integration; AppExchange consulting and application development; initial set-up of custom customer portal, single-sign-on, partner portals or S2S; requests requiring an akaCRM project manager other services not already included on the In-Scope Services for Support Packages list this Data Services list or otherwise accepted by akaCRM.
