Cloud 2 and Chatter

Marc Benioff and his team featured Cloud 2 at an event in NY City today that was streamed live around the world. Featured was Chatter of course with demonstration on how each person has a headshot and background information.  Additionally, all users can create groups (e.g., competitive intelligence team).  You can subscribe to follow people, groups or documents (records). A demonstration was also given using the new Apple iPad where a Chatter entry was entered wirelessly to the iPad and the record was updated in real time to all salesforce.com users.  Chatter is expected to be live for all users this Summer. Currently about 100 companies are on the beta of Chatter.
