Adding to the firm business values, akaCRM endeavors to be regarded in the highest light of corporate citizenship. akaCRM Team Members are encouraged to be environmentally responsible and support philanthropic endeavors. Each akaCRM team member is required to join the akaCRM team supporting one of the causes below or become the sponsor for new akaCRM supported organization. We invite our customers, partners and suppliers to participate with us jointly in supporting and sponsoring such efforts.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS's) Team in Training Program began in 1988 and has grown into the world's largest endurance sports training program. Currently more than 40,000 runners, walkers, cyclists, hikers and triathletes participate in the world's major marathons, triathlons, hiking adventures and century rides to support the mission of the LLS: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

On November 7, 2010, akaCRM’s own Karen Stock participated in the Dallas Running Club (DRC) Half Marathon as a member of her local Team in Training chapter. Together with her husband Aric Stock they raised over $12,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In October 2011, Karen and Aric continued their participation in Team in Training by fundraising and running in the Nike Women's Half Marathon in San Francisco. akaCRM also actively supports the National Marrow Donor program and its affiliated partnerships. In particular, we encourage everyone to be registered in the national database through DKMS Americas which will mail you a test kit in the mail at no cost. Don't let Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) victims become just another number - get involved today by becoming a sponsor, becoming a volunteer, donating money or registering for the Pikes Peak Challenge, an event held each September to support individuals suffering from a TBI and their families. Listed below are some staggering brain injury statistics based on national estimates.

Every 23 seconds in america a person sustains a TBI.

Every 5 minutes one of these people will die and another will become permanently disabled.

As may Americans die every year from TBI as died in the entire history of the Vietnam War.

Brain injury is the leading killer and disabler of the country's children and young adults.

Research into the control and treatment of TBI receives less than one penny of every Federal dollar spent on medical research.

Annual number of new cases of TBI is 8 times greater than the number of new cases of breast cancer.

Annual number of new cases of TBI is 34 times greater than the number of new cases of HIV/AIDS.

There are 900,000 persons living with HIV/AIDS and public spending is $18,111 per person.

There are 3 million persons living with breast cancer and public spending is $295 per person.

There are 5.3 million persons living with disability from TBI and public spending is only $2.55 per person.

The akaCRM team have and continue to make a meaningful difference for individuals with Leukemia, Lymphoma and other blood disorders. In 2Q'2009, they completed a drive with DKMS that registered an astounding 800 potential bone marrow donors which will have real life-saving opportunities for decades to come. Since the drive five (5) matches have been found. The 800 potential donors will provide more life-saving opportunities in the decades to come.
