Dixie Larson is a Principal of akaCRM with more than twenty years experience in the software industry, in a variety of pre- and post-sales roles. She is a Salesforce Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant and Force.com Developer with over 12 years working with CRM systems.
Dixie comes to akaCRM with a unique “insider” viewpoint, having worked at Salesforce for over 7 years in numerous positions, including Sales Engineer, Professional Services Senior Consultant and Account Executive. While working as a Senior Consultant on the Salesforce Professional Services team, she led dozens of successful projects for small and medium businesses, and consistently received praise for her communication skills and ability to quickly understand the business requirements and put together the best solution to meet her clients’ needs. Dixie has experience across multiple industries, including Manufacturing and Financial Services.
Prior to Salesforce, Dixie worked for Siebel Systems (acquired by Oracle) for nearly 5 years, and FileNET (acquired by IBM) for 7 years. She is fluent in French and lived and worked in Paris for over 2 years before she joined Salesforce.com.
Dixie is lucky to have lived in some other great cities as well, including Seattle, Scottsdale, Santa Monica and Rancho Santa Margarita (CA). She is now settled in Overland Park, KS and is happily married with two teenage daughters. Dixie is an avid tennis player and also enjoys traveling, hiking, snow skiing and ethnic food.
